A woman in my MOMS Club asked me about an Usborne title so I thought I would share it with everyone. It's called
Fairy Cooking, it's for ages 4 and up, and it has lots of cute & yummy recipes. If you click on
this link you will find the title, click on it, and then you can peek inside the book as well as a few other children's cookbooks. If your little girl likes "girly" things, you can look at the other books on that page (I used the keyword "fairy") and also do a search for the words "princess" and "pink." There is even a book called
Christmas Fairy Things to Make and Do. (or if you'd rather see a paper catalog, let me know)
This mom had seen the book at Barnes & Noble and asked if I carried it. Yes, Usborne books are available in retail bookstores. Each bookstore carries only a few titles of the 1300+ Usborne titles.
Any Usborne book you see in a store is available through me, and I will provide you personal service and show you other books you may be interested in. An advantage to you in knowing that Usborne books are available in stores is that it keeps our prices reasonable. Unlike many products sold through independent consultants and home shows, ours are not overpriced because publishing is a competitive market. My price is the same as the one on the back of the book you find in a store... or lower, if I provide an incentive, or free, if you earn it through sharing Usborne Books with your friends!
I have had to prioritize other things above my Usborne business this summer, but now those things have settled down, and I am so excited about bringing the new titles and specials to you!

I know that a lot of you know "girly" girls... and Usborne Books has just what they want! But it's not just for play. The stories are wonderful, and the crafts and cooking books build skills and promote togetherness with the adults that help them.
I know some you know girls who are not especially "girly." I have always been a bookworm and never really into "girly" stuff. Or you know boys so you are ready to pass this by. But wait, all of you! I have some things to point out.First of all, click on the link above and look especially at the story books: the fairy tales, stories of princes and princesses, and young readers. Most of those will be appreciated by young boys or un-pink girls who just plain like stories. My 5-year-old boy loves The Princess and the Pea.
Secondly, if these 30 titles don't appeal, try the other 1,200 and some! :-)And finally, for you sparkly pink lovers who are just waiting to click away, after you check out these titles, enter the keyword "princess" to find some more titles that didn't make it into this selection. The Usborne Books consultant base kit is valued at $323.43! That's just for the 33 titles included. Normally the base kit costs $199 (plus s/h) but this month you can get it for just $100!!
